Watching the moon bloom
before your eyes
the lips of the cave must be moist
with the dew

This late night
the stars have laid down their dust
around

The Fireflies
are silent

The pond between the rocks
where you overlook
stirrs
to the moonlight

Even the breeze
has woven themsleves together
a thick prayer

The creatures
inhale your breath
tuning in to your waves

This night
is dense with awareness

This night
is bright
and it’s not yet full moon

Bless you Bhante…

May you be free…

Dedicated to a monk Who went to Yala jungle last week for the vassana period on his own.
